Exciting Holiday Parades in Muskoka Starting In November

The holidays are upon us! Here are just some of the exciting events happening in Muskoka this November and December – discover the community driven events that are in store for you this month. Did I mention that Muskoka will be filled with amazing festive parades? Check them out!

 

Port Carling Santa Claus Parade

When: November 22, 2014, 6:30 -8:30 PM at Port Carling

This night time parade featuring none other than Santa Claus will begin at Ferndale Road and finish at the Community Center, where parade attendees can enjoy some fun activities and yummy snacks like hot dogs, hot cocoa and good, old-fashioned Christmas carolling.

 

The Huntsville Santa Claus Parade

When: Friday, November 28, 7 pm

Organized by the Rotary Club of Huntsville-Lake of Bays and the Huntsville- Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce, this parade will be held in Downtown Huntsville at Main Street East and King William Street. Admission is free so head on over to this parade with the theme: “Light Up Muskoka”. Expect to see colourful floats and an amazing display of lights and sounds that will surely bring a smile to kids and adults alike as we celebrate the season of giving.

 

The Gravenhurst Parade

When: November 29, 11 am

This parade with the theme of Superhero and Christmas Icons is set to be Gravenhurst’s 61st parade and is sure to delight all attendees as amazing characters come to life in this amazing spectacular of costumes and festive delight.

 

The Bracebridge Rotary Parade

When: December 7, 1 pm

Now on its 46th year, the Bracebridge Rotary Parade will tour Santa from Manitoba Street to the Memorial Park, where there will be delicious hot chocolate and a meet and greet which will surely bring the whimsy back in your child’s holiday experience.
